Reeve’s Climate Action Starts at Home
Living on Salt Spring Island, BC where resources can be limited, Reeve understands that everyday choices matter. Water shortages can be a reality depending on the season, so he and his family have found simple ways to conserve water and reduce their environmental impact at home.
Reeve makes sure not to waste the water he pours to drink, turns off the tap while washing his hands, and even shares bathwater with his little brother. Any water left in his bottle after school goes to the plants instead of down the drain.
His climate action doesn’t stop with water conservation. Reeve remembers to turn off lights to save energy and isn’t shy about speaking up when he sees someone littering!
Through his video, Reeve shows that caring for the environment can be part of everyday life, and that small actions, repeated consistently, can make a difference.
